The Lookout
The Lookout is the most desirable apartment in Nare Court's twin towers. Originally selected as the Showhome, the Lookout occupies the top floor of the harbour facing tower, commanding sensational 270 degree panoramic views of Mevagissey village, the inner harbour, outer harbour, coastline and sea. Floor to ceiling glass doors open directly on to the superb balcony. The lounge, twin bedroom and single bedroom windows all have stunning harbour views.
Imagine waking up to this inspirational view every morning. You can admire the sunrise while you enjoy breakfast and watch the fishing boats sail past, returning home with the night's catch. In the evening you can relax with a drink on the balcony and marvel at the everchanging light show. On a clear night the stars glow brightly, unspoilt by neon streetlights or city pollution. In winter, a bright full moon transforms the sea into a blanket of sparkling silver.
Designed to the highest specifications, the Lookout is private, yet just 500 yards from the heart of Mevagissey - a six-minute walk to the shops, restaurants, pubs, museums and harbour.
Luxurious inside, spectacular outside
The Lookout sleeps five, comprising a double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet, a twin bedroom, small single bedroom, bathroom with spa bath, lounge, dining area, luxury kitchen and panoramic balcony. The kitchen includes oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/drier and microwave oven. Indoor entertainment and relaxation includes television, DVD player, video recorder, hi-fi system and a 50-book library.
The colours, sounds and smell of the ever-changing sea can be enjoyed from the balcony and sundeck and also from a variety of walks. The Cornish coastal footpath provides sweeping views of the harbour and coastline and spectacular walks through Portmellon, out to Chapel Point and around the coast to Gorran Haven.
The Lookout also benefits from one reserved, covered parking space in the courtyard, directly outside the main door leading up to the Lookout. This is a real asset in Mevagissey, where parking spaces are often difficult and expensive to find. One additional parking space may be available on request.
A home for all seasons
Modern central heating and Swedish triple glazing keep the Lookout warm at all times, even on the coldest winter day. The ceiling to floor glass windows also mean the stunning views can be enjoyed even in cooler weather, from inside.
