Mevagissey
This picturesque 14th Century fishing village lies at the heart of the famous Cornish Riviera, which stretches from Fowey to Falmouth, along Cornwall's beautiful southern coastline. Falmouth
The attractive town and port of Falmouth lies at the southernmost tip of the famous Cornish Riviera, overlooking the beautiful Fal Estuary and the Roseland Peninsula. Falmouth is the third largest natural deep harbour in the world, after Sydney and Rio de Janeiro. The attractive waterfront is a very appropriate setting for the magnificent new £28 million National Maritime Museum. Falmouth also boasts an excellent array of
shops and four sandy beaches. The sailing waters of the Fal Estuary (Carrick Roads) rank amongst the finest in the UK. Two golf courses, sea fishing, horse riding and the scenic South West coastal footpath provide year-round activities.The beautiful Gardens at Trelissick and Trebah overlook the Fal and Helford
rivers. Many stylish inns and restaurants in picturesque waterfront locations all lie within a fifteen minute drive, at Mylor yacht harbour, Flushing, Restronguet, Maenporth and Helford Passage.
